Kerry Bolger Photography has been capturing weddings in and around Chicago for six years. Shooting with multiple 35 mm film cameras enables Kerry to ensure many angles of coverage in color and black and white. Specialty films such as infrared and slide films are also available on request.
Wedding packages start at $1600; all packages include unlimited film and processing, a complete set of 4x6 inch prints delivered in linen albums and a custom personal website so that family and friends can easily view and purchase photos. Portraits
A good portrait is a very powerful thing. These are not posed snapshots in front of a fancy backdrop. Capturing a moment that reflects something real about it's subject requires patience, instinct and a watchful eye. The photographer needs to be able to interact with the subject in a way that doesn't feel threatening or commanding.
This defines Kerry's approach to portrait photography. She does not work out of a studio, preferring to use the subject's own environment--whether at home or on location--as a "backdrop." When working with children, she gets beautiful results by just following them as they play and explore.
